Meat and Cake

If you know me at all, and by now…you better, then you know that I love cake. And, you also know I love bacon. In fact, one of my “things” is saying, “I run for cake and bacon.” Yet it never occurred to me to put those two together like in a recipe. Well, as I was telling my friends at our Ann Arbor web design during a discussion on cupcakes, Honey Baked Ham has come up with the following cupcake: honey cake wrapped in a ham shell (instead of a paper cup) and topped with honey frosting and a thick pineapple ring. This I would love to try. It’s not bacon, I realize this, but it’s in the family—a step in the right direction.
