The Most Expressive Language
I had a really big misconception about sign language. I assumed that since it is communicated with hands and motions that there was no noise or facial expression. I was totally wrong. I was looking for a Sign Language Alphabet Chart online and saw some videos of a person teaching sign. They were making really expressive facial gestures to emphasize what they were saying. I then went to a little meeting where my friend is learning sign language and it was so loud. The individuals that are deaf don’t realize they are making so much noise. It was actually pretty awesome to see.
