We Chose The Debt Management Plan
When I approached our financial counselor about the best plan for us he was very patient. I wanted to get started immediately but he insisted that we look at each alternative and see which one worked best for our situation. At the end of our third meeting he asked me which one I thought was most appropriate for us. I told him I liked the debt management plan but was not sure if the people that I owed money to would be willing to extend the time that I needed to pay. He told me that most of them would just be glad to get the money and we should try it.
