Feeling the Holiday Blues
Each year around Christmas holiday, I always feel a little blue. My parents and family all live in Edinburgh and I never get to see them except every five years. I miss my home country and my family around the holidays. When I told my parents that I was home sick, they started sending me Christmas hampers each year. It isn’t a much to most, but to have that little taste of home each year, really brightens my spirits. I am so happy to be able to get all my favorite English treats that I can’t get here in the United States, that I try to savor them all year long.
