I’m Eating Humble Pie
Well, here I sit, eating humble pie. My construction company was getting a bad image in the local community. They were saying that we were wasting a ton of resources by just throwing away spare bits of lumber, metal, plastic… you get the idea. Our head PR guy looked up some information on recycling and decided to start implementing some ideas, thinking that it would improve our image. I told him he was an idiot. Well… not only did it improve our public image, it actually cut down our costs because we get money back for these materials that were garbage before.
