The House Isn’t Finished Without a Deck

My husband and I built a home big enough for our family of five children, and it is surrounded by several acres of woods.  When we were designing the house, we had just moved from the south and very much wanted to add a deck.  At first we were concerned about the differences between deck cleaning michigan homes and the easy maintenance we’d enjoyed in Florida.  But with some expert help we sealed our deck so that it is weatherproof.  Spring cleaning primarily consists of using a powerful hose.  As we barbecue and have parties each summer, we’re glad we added a deck because it just wouldn’t have been home without it.
