If Christian marriage counseling doesn’t work, what does?

I’ve heard so many people talking bad about Christian marriage counseling over the past few weeks that I really don’t understand what their problem is with it. I mean what do they expect couples who are in trouble to do? Watch Oprah? I don’t think so. At least you’re getting an education about what the Bible says you should do in your marriage. If you choose to ignore it, well then that’s your own issue and you’re basically condemning yourself to damnation and hell. If that’s what you want for eternity, then I guess that’s your business — but I know I’d think twice.
