Saving Up For A Night Out
There’s a soul food restaurant in Brooklyn that my family enjoys eating at, but because we’re a group of seven, eating out is usually expensive for us. So one day I decided to try making some of our favorite dishes from the restaurant at home. Everyone liked the food, but we all agreed that the restaurant did it better. So my husband and I are currently saving up for us to go back to the restaurant one more time, when our oldest daughter graduates from high school. She has a part-time job, and offered to help with the costs, but we didn’t think that was fair, as it’s for her graduation.
