Brazil Has Two Years to Work at United Nations Security Council
The temporary seat in the security council, attained by Brazil last week, is a golden opportunity to show wich kind of leadership the country wants from the U.N. The opinion came from the embassar of the United States in Brasilia. In the next two years the Brazilian Foreign Policy is going to be at the spotlight.
The comment was made in response to the brazilian president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, last week, while he was visiting the construction of the transposition of the Rio São Francisco River, that said that the United Nations reform is a preeminent necessity of the present and should not be postponed.
