Everything Helps when you have Nothing

While I was working with New Tribe Missions, I learned first hand what it ment to have nothing. We lived as the people lived, learning their culture and language. We brought our own food and water that we gave to them. They were so far out in the middle of nowhere that they were forgotten. Nobody knew of them and nobody cared. We helped them build schools and homes and churches. We gave the sanctuary that nobody else did. Some of the people in the mission even gave the clothes off of their backs because these people didn’t have any. Now I know what it really means when someone says that everything helps when you have nothing, because I’ve seen it first hand.
