Research in Writing

One of the hardest things to do when writing about a topic, is to research effectively and accurately.  I find that in order to make my writing better, I need to begin by evaluating research that I have collected.

Research can be evaluated by looking carefully at the topic you are trying to write about, and then using only the research that corresponds with that topic in your article.  Having irrelevant research just to take up space or for whatever the reason, makes you as a writer look unqualified or uneducated.  Once you have all the reaearch that you need, and you have evaluated that research, then you are ready to write.
